1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Famorama. By accessing or using our family management platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Famorama is a family management platform that provides tools for families to:

• Create and manage shared family calendars
• Plan and organize meals with AI-powered assistance
• Generate shopping lists and manage pantry inventory
• Coordinate family activities and schedules
• Share information among family members

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

To use Famorama, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old to create a family account
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Parents or guardians are responsible for managing family accounts and adding family members, including children, to the platform.

4. Family Member Accounts

Famorama supports different account types based on age:

• Children ages 0-10: Profile information only, managed by parents/guardians. No login access
• Children ages 11-15: Limited accounts with login access, created and managed by parents/guardians
• Ages 16+: Full account access with ability to create and manage their own accounts

Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the activity and content associated with accounts they create for minors.

5. Subscription and Payment

Famorama operates on a subscription basis:

• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually as selected)
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe, our payment provider
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change our pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period

6. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for new users. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, your access to the service will end, and you must purchase a subscription to continue using Famorama. The trial will not automatically convert to a paid subscription.

7. User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
• Share accounts or allow unauthorized access to your account
• Upload or share harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use automated systems to access the service without our permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels

8. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you upload or create on Famorama (calendars, meal plans, recipes, etc.). By using our service, you grant us a license to use, store, and display your content solely to provide our services to you and your family.

Our Content: Famorama and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Famorama and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. AI-Generated Content

Famorama uses artificial intelligence to provide features such as meal planning and recipe suggestions. AI-generated content is provided as-is and should be reviewed for accuracy, dietary restrictions, and safety. We are not responsible for any issues arising from the use of AI-generated meal plans or recipes.

10. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time
• Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect service availability
• Update features and functionality without prior notice

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease, and we may delete your account and data.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAMORAMA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the service
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your data
• Any interruption or cessation of the service
• Any errors or omissions in any content or AI-generated suggestions

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Famorama and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
